Was sind essentielle Aminosäuren (EAA)?
Amino acids are organic molecules that together form protein. There are 20 amino acids that contribute to the formation of proteins and are fundamental to the functioning of our body. 3 have only recently been discovered.
Of these 23, 8 are defined as essential. The term essential amino acids refers to those amino acids that the body cannot synthesize itself. Therefore, they must be introduced with feeding.
What are the essential amino acids?
The essential amino acids (EAA essential amino acids) are 8 and specifically:
lysine: It is mainly found in milk, soy and beef and is used to form carnitine and vitamin B3. Pro athlete, it is able to accelerate post-workout recovery.
Tryptophan: found in milk and dairy products, eggs, legumes, meat and fish. It is an important amino acid in protein synthesis and in the synthesis of serotonin.
Phenylalanine: Found in meat, fish, eggs and brown rice. It is involved in many metabolic processes and is involved in the formation of thyroid hormones.
threonine: Found in corn, soy, eggs, mushrooms, cod, pork, lamb, rabbit and veal. It is a component of antibodies and therefore plays a fundamental role in maintaining the immune system.
methionine: Found in dairy, egg whites, cod and soy proteins. Methionine is the basis for the production of carnitine and cysteine as well as creatine, taurine and vitamin B12.
Leucin: Milk, corn, chicken and eggs are the main sources of this amino acid. It plays an important role in muscles.
isoleucine: Found mainly in corn, potatoes, chicken, eggs, peanuts, bresaola, lamb. It is closely related to glucose requirements.
Valin: It is rich in protein powder, soy proteins, spirulina algae, dairy and milk products. It plays an important role, especially in tissue reconstruction.
For those in the growth phase, a ninth amino acid is also included as essential: histidine.
What are essential amino acid supplements used for?
When diet alone is not enough or when the amount of some foods is reduced, dietary supplements are very valuable tools to meet amino acid needs.
There are several on the market, with different combinations of amino acids, with single amino acids or even with combinations of branched chain amino acids only, ideal for athletes.
If you are looking for a supplement that contains all of the amino acids, you can achieve that with Essential AMINO as not only does it contain them all, but it also provides them in their ideal ratio.
What are the benefits of Essential AMINO?
Our essential AMINO is:
- A product consisting of Amino acids from vegetable fermentation .
- Contains all 8 essential amino acids in an optimal ratio to maximize bioavailability and minimize nitrogen wastage.
- It also contains the amino acid L-histidine
- The ratio of l-leucine, l-isoleucine, l-valine is 4:1:1. Therefore, greater presence of l-leucine. A fundamental amino acid for protein synthesis
