Sleep by BioTech USA boosts melatonin production. Melatonin is a natural, sleep-regulating hormone produced by the pineal gland located in the brain center. Melatonin controls the nocturnal drowsiness. Its production can be inhibited by natural or artificial light as well as stress. The vast majority of adults need 6 until 9 hours of night sleep; too little as well as too much sleep can cause daytime tiredness.
