With the addition of coenzyme Q10 in the form of ubiquinone.
Yamamoto® Nutrition CarniBLAST® delivers the three most popular forms of L-Carnitine in a single tablet. One tablet contains 1000mg of Carnitine L-Tartrate and also offers the formula with PLC, the Propionyl L-Carnitine which has slightly different properties.
During exercise, most of the L-carnitine in the mitochondria is converted into ALC by the enzyme carnitine-O-acetyltransferase.
Propionyl-L-Carnitine (PLC) results from the esterification of propionic acid with carnitine.
This bond makes the substance particularly lipophilic and allows cell membranes to become more permeable to acetyl-L-carnitine.
