The chain-linked amino acids (BCAA's) leucine, isoleucine and valine are essential because the body cannot manufacture them. They make up 35% of essential amino acids in muscle proteins. Glutamine is the most common amino acid in human blood and is conditionally essential in certain circumstances, such as intense physical exercise, when the body cannot synthesize to meet its needs. This (conditionally) essential amino acid can be obtained from dietary protein, including supplements. Our G-BCAA formula includes a 1:1:1:1 ratio of Glutamine, Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine!
